Rate Increase

When a client's rate increases, an email gets sent from the PM's email to the client's. HERE's an example.

When a client reacts against the rate Increase, we'll have to give them a call.

Before you make the call, attempt to locate this email in your sent items. If your client was recently assigned to you, it's likely that the notification email was sent from the former PM's email. Log into the PM's email and search their sent items using the client's email address.

Once you've located the Email Notification, call the client & follow the steps below.

STEP 1 Justify the Increase

If 1st Increase

Our rate increase is mainly due to the improvement of several of our services.

  • Improved Website Security Certificate
This further protects the website from malware & information phishers.

  • Enhanced Search Engine Visibility
We have implemented a program that can now target a wider set of Keywords and Geo-Targeting to further boost the website's visibility online.
This in turn brings in more traffic into the website, most clients for the business & potential leads to help market our client's business.

If 2nd Increase or more

As the cost of hosting the websites increases, there would be times that we will need to increase our hosting fees as well. Though we continue to explore options to keep our services economical & continuously improving.

If the client pushes back on the rate increase, proceed to Step 2.

STEP 2 New Rate Annual Subscription

Offer the Annual Subscription based on the new rate for 5% off. You can ask if this is a viable option for the client.
If the client's refuses this offer, proceed to Step 3.

STEP 3 Old Rate Annual Subscription

Offer the Annual Subscription based on the old rate for 5% off. You can ask if this is a viable option for the client.
If the client's refuses this offer, proceed to Step 4.

STEP 4 Stay on Previous Rate

If Previous Rate is not lower than our cheapest rate, $94.

Advise that we will get in touch with our Finance Department to explain their situation in hopes to keep them in the previous rate.
Note this request in Bitrix & tag Accounting
After a while (2 hours or the next day) call back the client and advise that you've managed to keep them in the previous rate.

If Previous Rate is lower than our cheapest rate, $94.

Advise that the most economical rate we've got right now is $94 and as much as we'd like to help. we cannot go below $94.

Keep in mind that we can request for lower than $94 only for Churches & Non-Profit websites, which you will note the request in BItrix, tag accounting and wait for Accounting's response, then update the client.
